Sudan considers US request to host Afghan refugees

A senior diplomatic source revealed to Al-Siyaha that the United States of America submitted a request to Sudan to host the Afghan refugees in Khartoum.
The diplomatic source said that Sudan has put the US request under study, adding, “In principle, I do not think there will be a rejection of the request,” stressing that the matter needs arrangements.
The newspaper obtained a list of a number of countries that agreed to evacuate or host Afghan refugees in their countries, most notably Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Canada, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Uganda and Rwanda.
