Within the framework of the enlightenment activity of the position of the Supreme Council of Native Administration in eastern Sudan on the political and societal crisis in eastern Sudan, the Supreme Council of Native Administration in eastern Sudan met with a delegation from the United Nations Integrated Mission to Assist the Transition in Sudan headed by the head of the mission, Mr. Volker Peretz, where the meeting concluded with the following results:
1/ Describing the crisis in eastern Sudan as a political crisis that negatively affects the process of transition and democratic transformation.
2/ Supporting peace and what was achieved in the Juba Agreement for the peace of Sudan, especially what was achieved for eastern Sudan through the Eastern Path Agreement.
3 / Confirm the acceptance of the Supreme Council of Native Administration in eastern Sudan for the solution presented by the committee of Lieutenant-General Shams Al-Din Kabbashi to ensure the participation of all in managing the affairs of the region.
4/ Calling on the government, through the High Peace Council, to take the necessary decisions for the immediate implementation of the Eastern Track Agreement, as it is an entitlement for all the people of eastern Sudan.
