Abdel Moneim Abdel Hafez, Head of the Prosecution of Information Crimes and Digital Investigations, revealed information about the emergence of cases on social networking sites calling for atheism, perversion, prostitution and atonement.

In an interview with Al-Tayyar newspaper, he noted the danger of falling into the trap of social networking sites through irresponsible publishing, which makes its owner liable to the law.

He indicated that the penalties for cybercrime start with imprisonment for three years and end with a life sentence, pointing out that the legislation on cybercrime needs to be updated.
